How does the program work?

Effective November 1, 2019, consumers who purchase 2-stroke gasoline powered Husqvarna branded handheld products, including: chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole saws and trimmers, for non-income producing personal use or household purposes, excluding commercial, agricultural, retail, industrial and rental usage types, can extend their product warranty from the standard 2 years to either a 3 year or 5 year limited consumer warranty.

To extend the warranty by 3 years to a total of 5 years:

The consumer will need to take only two steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 96 fluid oz of Husqvarna brand pre-mixed fuel at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*

To extend the warranty by 1 year to a total of 3 years:

The consumer will need to take only two steps: First, the consumer must purchase at least 6 bottles of Husqvarna brand 2-stroke oil regardless of size and/or type at the same time as the qualifying handheld product purchase and both purchases must be on the original product invoice/receipt. Second, the consumer must register their product online.*

For multiple units purchased:

Each qualifying handheld product purchased must have an accompanying amount of 2-stroke oil or pre-mixed fuel added to the original receipt in order to qualify. For example, if a consumer purchases a 455 rancher chainsaw and a 125B handheld blower and would like to have them both qualify for a 5 year limited warranty, they will need to purchase at least 192 fluid oz of pre-mixed fuel (96 fluid oz for the chainsaw and 96 fluid oz for the handheld blower).

*Consumers are required to keep their proof of purchase for the length of warranty should verification be needed. Husqvarna reserves the right to ask for this receipt prior to warranty work being performed.

How do I register a Husqvarna product?

In Canada, product registration must be completed by your local Husqvarna dealer where the product and/or oil and/or pre-mixed fuel was purchased, or online, to qualify for any extended warranty.

If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase of a Husqvarna Automower®, simply return the unit to the selling dealer within 60 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

  • Qualifying products must be returned within sixty (60) days of the original purchase date. Units returned after 60 days are not eligible for refund or exchange under the program.
  • The program applies only to Automower® units. Related items such as accessories, repair parts, etc. are not eligible.
  • Products damaged due to improper use, abuse, neglect or failure to operate and maintain the unit in accordance with the Operators Manual do not qualify for refund or exchange under the program.
  • Products that have been stolen, damaged due to abuse or neglect, or damaged by fire, water, wind or other acts of nature do not qualify for refund or exchange under the program.
  • Products purchased on the Internet do not qualify for the program.
  • If a qualifying product is returned during the 60-day program period, but it has defective damages exceeding 75% of the repair cost, the product is not eligible for the Husqvarna Crown Commitment™ program.

Husqvarna Commercial Fleet Program

Husqvarna’s Commercial Fleet Program is designed to provide commercial customers a volume discount on major purchases of new Husqvarna landscaping equipment. This program package is available only to companies or agencies who are involved in the professional lawn care or tree care business on a full-time basis or use the equipment as a means of producing income.

How it works

  • Commercial customers qualify for a Fleet Program discount when their purchase totals a minimum of 6 points on one invoice.
  • Points will be accumulated based on the units purchased, in any combination, at the point value assigned to the unit’s product category.
  • Qualified commercial accessories can be added to an original equipment order at the same discount level. These items do not count toward the point total but must be made at the same time as the original qualifying purchase.
  • When a commercial customer accumulates 6, 8 or 10 Fleet Program points they are eligible for 10%, 15% and 20% discounts respectively, on qualifying units. Participating dealers offer this discount at the time of sale and subsequently file a claim for credit. Husqvarna shares the cost with dealers and will provide a credit equal to half of the percent given at retail, against dealer base cost.
  • The Fleet Program customer’s original 8 point or 10 point qualifying purchase makes that company eligible for re-orders of individual qualifying products (shown in the chart below) at the same Fleet Program discount for 12 or 24 months respectively. No other units qualify for the discount. Extended discounts are not available with 6 point fleet purchases.
  • No "grouping" of orders is allowed among multiple end-users including purchasing groups and leasing agencies to qualify.

What is Warranty Plus?
Warranty Plus is an extended warranty, granting Automower® three additional years of warranty in addition to the two years factory warranty that comes with it. This means a total of 5 years warranty from the date it was purchased.

Who can take part of the offer and during what time?
Any consumer who bought Automower® during 2019, 2020 or 2021 can take part of this time limited offer during October-December, 2021.

Are there any prerequisites?
Yes, Automower® needs to be serviced yearly from when the warranty extension is signed at an authorised dealer (at the customers own expense) for the warranty extension to be valid.

Do I need to pay for the mandatory winter service?
Yes, the winter service is paid by the customer and the price differs from dealer to dealer.

When do I need to take Automower® for service?
You need to bring Automower® for yearly service from the time the warranty extension was signed. You can bring it to any authorised Husqvarna dealer until 1st March 2022.

How do I sign up for Warranty Plus?
